Mizzen Heritage Museum
The Mizzen Heritage Museum, located just off the main road at Alex Rowe’s Lane, depicts the history of Heart’s Content in photos, artifacts, and models. The Society’s collection consists of artifacts and archival materials which outline the community’s early occupational heritage, including the seal, inshore cod and Labrador fisheries, and the ship building industry of the late 1700’s. Domestic artifacts are also exhibited, as well as artifacts relating to the Mizzen Society’s history, including musical instruments and swords.
